Why Canton Barbell for your young athletes?


In a training climate where what "looks cool" reigns supreme on social media, we encourage parents to ask us "why."  All of our training methods have a practical purpose relative to improved mobility, strength, power, speed, and resistance to injury.

ATHLETE SURVEY
  •   Our programs are generalized and not sports specific.  Strong is strong, weak is weak, and fast is fast.  
  • Athletes of different sports can train together.  It is a fallacy that athletes who play different sports should train wildly different.
  • Groups are limited to 4-5 per coach on the floor, in order to give athletes adequate coaching attention.
  • ​Our programs revolve around the athlete, the athletes don't revolve around our programs. (We always adjust to practice, competition, availability, etc.)
